Assistant To The Deputy Chief Of Staff
ECLARO is looking for an Assistant to the Deputy Chief of Staff for our client in New York, NY. ECLARO's client advocates for energy efficiency and clean energy technology. If you're up to the challenge, then take a chance at this rewarding opportunity!
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff will work with Executive Team members and other staff to prepare the President & CEO for internal and external meetings; presentations and events;
- Manage deadlines under the guidance of the Chief of Staff to ensure timely follow up of all action items
- Assist Chief of Staff in managing day-to-day operations on behalf of the President & CEO, including:
- Coordination of Executive Team meetings
- Executive Team file management
- Review and triage of incoming requests
- Work with the Chief of Staff to coordinate high quality, on message, accurate, and timely follow up to inquiries from the Governor's office, Board, oversight entities, and key external constituencies
- Other duties as assigned that contribute to the key outcomes of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority
Qualifications:
- Ability to balance multiple, often time-sensitive requests with discretion
- Organized and able to operate relatively independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Written communication and drafting skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to aggregate and analyze information
- Project management skills
- Experience supporting Executive Team members
- NYS Energy system knowledge or clean energy industry experience a plus
- IT systems that will be used: Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Teams, Webex
