Job Summary:

Registered Nurse - Neuro Tele in Phoenix, Arizona. This position involves working on a neuro telemetry unit with a focus on titrating drips such as Amiodarone (Amio), Cardizem, and Insulin. The role requires interpreting EKGs and managing various neurological and trauma patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Phoenix, Arizona
• Certifications: ACLS, Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Education/Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience; neuro experience highly preferred. Valid license and willingness to wait for licensure required.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 4 weekend shifts in 8 weeks, holidays included in rotation.
• Additional Information: Must be able to titrate drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin. Unit handles trached patients, CVA, TBI, spinal surgeries, encephalopathy, ESRD, psychiatric issues, and brain tumors. The unit is fast-paced with high patient turnaround, averaging 4-5 days length of stay, with bedside reporting. Moderate float inclusion, and unit-specific orientation for 2 days.
