Mileage Reimbursement Provided

Schedule: 7 total home visits per patient, once per month, with a 7-day flexibility window around each scheduled visit date. First visit expected by the end of July.

The Role

We're seeking an LPN, Phlebotomist, or Medical Assistant with recent, hands-on experience in blood collection and specimen processing to support home visits in the Mason City, IA area.

This is a flexible, part-time opportunity ideal for a clinician who enjoys independent, one-on-one patient care outside of a traditional clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct home visits to perform blood draws and centrifuge/specimen processing according to protocol

Accurately document all visit findings and maintain required source documentation

Communicate visit outcomes and any concerns promptly to the study team

Maintain strict adherence to protocol, patient confidentiality, and safety standards

Build rapport with patients to support a positive, professional visit experience

What You Bring

LPN, Phlebotomist, or Medical Assistant certification, based on applicable discipline

Venipuncture certification

Minimum of 2 years of current, hands-on experience in blood collection and centrifuge processing

Comfort working independently in a home-visit setting

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to patient homes

Clinical research or decentralized trial experience is a plus, but not required

Strong attention to detail and professional, patient-focused communication skills
