Oracle EBS Database Administrator

Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Database Administrator with strong hands-on experience supporting Oracle EBS technical upgrades .

Position: Oracle EBS Database Administrator



Experience: 8 10+ years



Location: Fully Remote

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience
• 7+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS experience
• At least one full-cycle Oracle EBS technical upgrade from R12.1.x to R12.2.x required
• Strong experience with Oracle EBS 12.2 architecture, ADOP/Online Patching, WebLogic, and dual file systems
• Strong Oracle DBA experience with installation, patching, RMAN backup/recovery, cloning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Oracle APEX installation experience 5+ years preferred
• Experience with EBS SCM and Financials modules, including understanding of data flows, dependencies, and upgrade impacts
• Experience with BI Publisher, CEMLI retrofit activities, and EBS integrations
• Experience with Oracle Critical Patch Updates (CPUs) and database security hardening
• Experience with Data Guard/RAC, SSO/IAM, and performance testing is a plus

The candidate will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end EBS upgrade, including pre-upgrade assessment, technical upgrade execution, Online Patching/ADOP configuration, database activities, testing, cutover, and post-go-live hypercare.

Important : We need candidates with full Oracle E-Business Suite experience and actual hands-on EBS upgrade experience, not just general Oracle DBA experience. SCM and Financials knowledge is needed at the technical/DBA level; functional configuration experience is not required.
