Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential support to residents in a skilled nursing facility by assisting with activities of daily living, ensuring their safety, health, and comfort. This role involves responding to call lights, assisting with personal care tasks, monitoring resident conditions, and communicating changes to nursing staff. The CNA plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, attentive care during the night shift. Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests. Assist residents with activities of daily living including toileting, transferring, bathing, grooming, and feeding. Obtain and record vital signs, weights, and other relevant health information as needed. Monitor and report any changes in resident conditions to the nurse on duty. Ensure timely fulfillment of resident needs and maintain a safe and comfortable environment. Report any allegations or signs of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the charge nurse. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff. Required Skills & Certifications:

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current and valid. Minimum of 1 year related work experience preferred. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Preferred Skills & Certifications:

Experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with residents and healthcare team members. Special Considerations:

Position requires working the night shift (10pm to 6am). Must comply with facility policies and procedures related to resident care and safety. Must be vigilant in recognizing and reporting any concerns regarding resident well-being. Scheduling:

Full-time night shift schedule from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
