Maintenance Technician I

Location Devonshire by Erickson Senior Living, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Position Maintenance Mechanic (Maintenance Technician I). Schedule Wednesday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Days off: Monday & Tuesday Compensation $20 – $22 per hour, commensurate with experience. Growth opportunities within expanding communities. Responsibilities Provide prompt responses to residents’ maintenance work orders. Enhance General Services’ visibility and reputation for problem solving. Perform routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas (electrical, plumbing, lighting, appliances). Maintain HVAC equipment, including preventive maintenance and emergency service. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in residential, commercial, or construction settings. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, flooring, appliances, and HVAC. Experience in a home health environment preferred. Excellent communication with residents and staff. Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds. Successful completion of Level 2 background screening required by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
