Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, flexible Employment Type: Travel Travel ICU Float Pool RN Join the inpatient Float Pool and provide critical-care nursing across ICU units based on facility needs. Scheduling: Block weekend scheduling is available Floating throughout inpatient ICU areas is required Responsibilities: Assess and manage critically ill patients with complex needs Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans Prioritize care based on patient acuity and clinical changes Perform required bedside point-of-care testing Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team Identify education needs and teach patients, families, and caregivers Anticipate discharge needs and promote continuity of care Communicate important clinical information during care transitions Follow hospital policies, professional nursing standards, and regulatory guidelines Participate in unit goals, performance improvement, and evidence-based practice Maintain a safe, clean, and secure patient-care environment Ideal Candidate: Strong ICU assessment and critical-thinking skills Comfortable caring for complex, high-acuity patients Adaptable and confident floating between inpatient ICU units Effective interdisciplinary communication and care-coordination skill About Prime Time Healthcare Nursing Prime Time Healthcare is a leading provider of traveling healthcare professionals nationwide.
