Forward Deployed AI Engineer

Salary: $155,000 - 190,000 per year Requirements:

• We want 2-5 years of hands-on software development experience with strong technical fundamentals.
• We expect comfort working in at least two of our core languages: Python, Java, or TypeScript.
• We look for experience building MLOps pipelines and/or developing, deploying, and iterating on Generative AI applications in production.
• We value experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure, plus containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• We need excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
• We look for proven ability to manage multiple client engineering engagements at once and deliver strong technical outcomes on tight timelines.
• We value adaptability in fast-moving startup or consulting environments with varied client organizations, tech stacks, and shifting priorities.
• We are especially interested in candidates who are genuinely passionate about AI and eager to stay close to rapid advances in the field.
• We require candidates to be based in the New York City metro area.

• We partner directly with enterprise AI teams to design, implement, and scale production-ready GenAI observability and evaluation programs.
• We lead technical conversations with customer stakeholders, from engineers to senior leaders, and translate business priorities into scalable technical solutions.
• We build custom integrations, tooling, and workflows that extend our platform to meet customer-specific needs.
• We manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously, taking projects from scoping through delivery while maintaining a high standard of technical execution and customer experience.
• We collaborate across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to shape implementation strategy, influence product direction, and increase customer impact.
• We help define and scale best practices, technical playbooks, and delivery methods for our growing Forward Deployed Engineering team.
