Travel Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN - $2,751 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 20 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg (Telemetry) Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical telemetry unit. Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and ensure adherence to treatment plans. Form collegial relationships with physicians and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Maintain hand hygiene compliance at a minimum of 75% to ensure patient safety. Participate in the float requirement and work on weekends as needed (2-3 weekends in 6 weeks). Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Current certifications: BCLS, NIH, IV Start, Telemetry are required; ACLS certification is preferred. Telemetry skills are essential. Job Details: Target nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5-7, depending on unit needs and surge capacity. The unit has a daily census of approximately 39 patients with a total of 40 beds. Shift length: 12-hour nights from 18:45 to 07:15. Orientation for travelers is 36 hours; availability for the entire first week is required for hospital orientation. Patient Population: The unit primarily serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with a focus on bariatrics and orthopedics, providing comprehensive inpatient care.
