Speech Therapist-PRN (As Needed)$50.83 per hour

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will provide high‑quality speech therapy services to patients in a collaborative healthcare environment while building strong relationships with patients, families, and facility staff. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about improving communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities while delivering patient‑centered care with professionalism and empathy. Pay: $50.83 per hour. PRN as needed position. Patient Care & Therapy Services Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Perform screenings and assessments for appropriate patients Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Monitor patient progress and accurately document outcomes Communicate patient needs and progress with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams Provide education and support to patients and caregivers Collaboration & Facility Engagement Build positive working relationships with facility staff and healthcare professionals Participate in care planning meetings, family conferences, utilization reviews, and interdisciplinary team meetings Collaborate with Physical Therapists (PTs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), and other rehabilitation professionals Help develop and implement innovative therapy programs and techniques Educate staff and community members about speech therapy services Professional Excellence Maintain compliance with facility policies, patient rights, infection control, and safety procedures Stay current with industry trends, clinical best practices, and continuing education Maintain active state licensure and professional certifications Qualifications Hold a master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology (may be dually certified in audiology) Hold a valid state license Ability to operate general office equipment including computer software applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the public, other agencies, employees, and administration Special Requirements Must obtain annual flu vaccination and any job‑specific immunizations Required to submit to a two‑step PPD test If driving, a valid driver’s license and ability to be insured as a facility driver Work is subject to recurring and inflexible deadlines and frequent interruptions Benefits Employee Assistance Program 403B retirement fund options (employer match after one year of employment) Medical benefits including telehealth options Dental and vision benefits Basic life insurance and AD&D (employer paid) Supplemental Life/AD&D Paid Time Off Short‑term disability (employer paid) Critical Illness Insurance Accident Insurance Identity protection Cafeteria Meal Discount Tour of Duty (Paid temporary housing for those who qualify) If you’re considering joining our team this position will be open for a minimum of 5 days or until filled.
