Valve Technician Level 1

At Southern Valve Service, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch valve modification and reconditioning services. Our expertise and commitment to quality have earned us the trust of numerous valve manufacturers and major Gulf Coast chemical processors and refineries. We are currently seeking a skilled Valve Technician to join our team and help us maintain our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, inspect, repair, and assemble various types of valves, including gate valves, ball valves, and butterfly valves.
  • Follow all drawings and documented procedures in accordance with Quality Control and recognized industry standards.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Industrial Valve experience is a plus.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and crouch for extended periods.
  • Proficient in using hands and fingers and reaching with arms.
  • Capable of lifting parts weighing up to 30lbs.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and be subject to random drug tests during employment.

Hours

Full Time Position: Mon – Fri 8:00 – 4:30. Overtime and weekends as needed to meet customer deliveries. Schedule changes may also be required.
