Our employees are highly trained and motivated to serve our customers.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare ad hoc reports and worksheets as requestedWork in multiple systemsFollow company's established accounting processesPrepare documentation for internal auditorsComplete month end journal entries and accounting adjustments through appropriate journal entriesExtract general ledger AR/AP information from the ERP system, analyze and reconcile dailyReview, balance, and interpret system reports, and make corrections as neededPrepare and maintain audit work papers and account analysis on an ongoing basisProcess month end reports and check for accuracyReview error reports and enter corrections into computerRespond to inquiries regarding entered dataEnsure confidentiality of all sensitive information, employee and company relatedOther duties as assignedSkills and CompetenciesEfficient time management including prioritizing, organizing and planning effectively to meet all deadlinesSelf-motivated; able to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team.Proven ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced work environmentExcellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong math, analytical skills and problem-solving skills; ability to make quick decisionsTalent to assert themselves and communicate professionally in a clear and direct mannerAttention to detail; ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial informationBe honest and trustworthy; maintain confidentiality of all financial filesExperience and EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredNotary Public, or willingness to become one, strongly preferredMinimum two (2) years of accounting courses in an accredited post-secondary institutionProficient with accounting applicationsStrong data entry and advanced Excel skills required
