New Grads WELCOME MaineHealth Franklin Hospital is seeking a Physician Associate (PA) to care for patients in the hospital at MaineHealth Franklin Hospital in Farmington, Maine. The role includes Advanced Practice Providers (APP) evaluating and treating patients primarily on the hospital medicine ward but also include completing admissions as well as providing consultative services to the various sub-specialties within the hospital including the emergency department. The APP will work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team of physicians, nursing staff, care management, and ancillary services to ensure optimal patient care. To facilitate providing exceptional patient care, practitioners will participate in quality initiative programs within the department of hospital medicine. This position is full-time, with a variable, request-based schedule and does include weekend and holiday shifts. New Grads are welcome to apply. Scheduled hours, 10-hour shifts; daytime shifts (7 am to 5 pm), with the potential for swing shifts (9am to 7pm); Part-time and Full-time opportunities. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and successful completion of accredited Physician Assistant Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure. Experience in hospital medicine preferred, not required. Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. Ability to effectively triage, organize and prioritize. Ability to function as part of a team. Proficient computer skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality This position offers: Collaborative, team approach to patient care.
