You’ll be: Maintaining accurate and current Street Index Systems and Precinct Maps, incorporating changes from federal, state, county, and municipal actions Providing information and support for redistricting and precinct changes as required Implementing new district boundaries into local GIS geography layers Maintaining precinct geographies using US Census Blocks, GIS mapping databases, and county GIS database layers Assisting Elections Coordinators with locating polling places and updating the Polling Place list with accurate directions Collaborating with IS team members, vendors, and staff across the organization Assisting in managing voter records to reflect changes in the Street Index System Providing geographic information and mapping services to internal departments, county officials, or the public as needed Conducting land records research with county and state agencies to resolve errors and complete omissions Preparing required reports and transmitting Sample Ballot shells Performing other related duties as assigned This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Bring 1-3 years of experience in GIS and data analysis (required) Possess strong knowledge of GIS software and its applications Are experienced with GIS mapping and database layers Demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Thrive working independently as well as collaboratively within a team Are able to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Kelly Services
