Position Overview

ProFlex Sports and Wellness is looking for a dedicated and experienced Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our team in beautiful Incline Village, Nevada. This full-time position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the recovery and rehabilitation of patients dealing with injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with physicians, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and other medical professionals to curate individualized treatment plans that maximize each patient's potential for recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical functionality, strength, and mobility to establish a comprehensive baseline for treatment.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic techniques, including functional testing and manual assessments, to identify specific treatment needs for each patient.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy programs aimed at restoring function and alleviating pain, ensuring strategies align with patients' rehabilitation goals.
• Incorporate a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education, supported by specialized equipment and technologies.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding injury prevention techniques, effective rehabilitation strategies, and tailored home exercise programming for continued recovery.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nursing staff, to enhance patient outcomes through coordinated care.
• Maintain clear and constructive communication with patients, families, and other caregivers throughout the rehabilitation process to ensure understanding of treatments and expected outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will interact with a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals undergoing postoperative rehabilitation, and patients managing chronic conditions such as arthritis or neurological impairments. Your approach will be tailored to accommodate the unique challenges faced by each demographic, ensuring a personalized experience that resonates with their specific needs.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada, confirming your qualifications to practice professionally.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with patients and collaborate with healthcare colleagues.
• Ability to develop and execute patient-specific treatment plans that are goal-oriented and evidence-based.
• A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to helping individuals achieve significant recovery milestones.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in outpatient orthopedics, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

ProFlex Sports and Wellness offers a competitive annual salary between $90,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience and educational qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
