Position: Brake Press Operator
Pay: $18.00 / Hourly
Shift: 2nd Shift, Mon-Fri, 12:00pm - 11:30pm (10-hour shifts) or 1:00pm - 11:30pm (11-hour shifts). Sat 5-hour options available.
Location: Byron Center, MI

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Brake Press Operator to start IMMEDIATELY at $18.00 per hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!

Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, and operate press brake machines to produce precise metal parts
• Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings for accuracy
• Change tooling, set ram positions, speeds, and backstops to meet specifications
• Record production and scrap data accurately in the ERP system
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Inspect first-piece run and make adjustments for quality assurance
• Collaborate with team members and communicate production issues promptly
• Follow all safety policies, industry standards, and company procedures
• Perform physical activities including lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, stooping, and twisting

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Blueprints reading and interpretation skills (required)
• 1+ year of press brake/metal fabrication experience preferred
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing)
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and tape measures (required)
• Knowledge of bending, forming, and rolling techniques
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
• Good eyesight with depth perception and color differentiation
• Positive attitude, dependable attendance, team-oriented mindset
