Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, SC . This 201-bed acute-care hospital is located in southeast SC on Port Royal Island, in the heart of the Sea Islands and South Carolina Lowcountry. Learn more about Beaufort Memorial at Responsibilities provide exceptional nutrition care to patients across inpatient units; work every 5th weekend and rotating holidays, providing hospital wide coverage; perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays; educate healthcare team member, including physicians and nurses; and precept dietetic interns. Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision.
