Mechanical Assembler

REQUIRED:

^ Previous knowledge, experience or interest in metal work/fabrication; assembly of products etc.

^ Ability to learn assembly of a variety of metal products.

^ 2-3 yrs. knowledge + experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment. (Not an assembly line) ^ Ability to read and accurately interpret prints +/or schematics.

^ Mechanically inclined: able to use a variety of power/air and hand tools including rivet guns.

^ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with regularity. (average parts run 2-15 lbs.).

^ Physical ability to stand, squat, bend, reach, pull and push during course of shift.

^ High attention to detail & fine tactical ability.

^ Pallet jack experience ^ Ability to take direction and initiative and work independently as well as a part of a team.

^ Reliable/dependable attendance record. ^ Contribute to team dynamics, offering solutions to move projects forward.

^ Cross training on finishing equipment such as a Fladder, Hand grinders, deburring equipment, etc. ^ Minimal computer experience (Word/Excel, business software system).

^ Organizational skills.

PREFERRED: ^ Ability to accurately identify various metals such as a variety of Steels, Aluminum, etc.

^ Job Shop experience.

^ Manufacturing experience in a Job Shop environment ^ Experience in application of the following: Silicone + Butyl Sealants; Gaskets etc.

EDUCATION:

High school or equivalent
