Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, diagnosing issues with PLCs, and maintaining 3-phase motors. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480 volts.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs and automated equipment.
• Maintain and repair 3-phase motors, controls, and related components.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.

Essential Skills

• Experience with electrical systems up to 480 volts.
• Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of 3-phase motors and controls.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Mechanical ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in changing bearings, knobs, and belts.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Must bring own tools.

Work Environment
This position is based in a corrugated box manufacturing facility with seven machines in operation. The work environment is well-ventilated with fans and open windows. Maintenance Technicians work Monday through Friday, with some Saturday shifts, from 2 pm to 10 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hialeah, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.00/hr.
