Delivery Truck Driver - CDL

Truck Driver position at Ferguson, responsible for the safe and reliable transportation of construction and industrial materials to customers at job sites. Responsibilities Deliver materials to customers, using pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload, and ensure receipt of delivery ticket with materials. Pick up customer returns and validate product matches for credit requests. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to the supervisor. Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures. Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material. Adhere to all safety regulations, including correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as a safety harness (maximum weight capacity 400 lbs). Work overtime as needed. Qualifications Must hold a valid CDL and be at least 21 years of age. Meet and maintain CDL qualifications and all DOT standards and regulations. Maintain a valid DOT Medical card. Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. Background in warehouse operations and logistics (shipping, receiving, delivery) is a plus. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Ability to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads. Prefer 0-3 years of commercial truck driving experience and 0-3 years warehouse experience. Bonus or incentive plan eligible. Starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
