Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) is needed for a travel assignment in Portland, Oregon. Start date 09/14/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range is $2,327 to $2,505 per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This assignment requires current RN licensure in the state of practice and specialized obstetric nursing credentials.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of L&D patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, respond to changes, and provide appropriate interventions during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
- Administer medications and ensure accurate documentation and medication safety
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse midwives, and the broader care team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Supervise and direct activities of licensed and unlicensed staff as assigned, delegating duties to ensure safe, efficient care
- Maintain thorough documentation in the electronic medical record and educate patients and families about care plans and newborn care

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (Oregon)
- At least two years of recent RN experience in the field
- BLS/CPR certification; facility-specific requirement: AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification required
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required
- BSN degree preferred
