The MRI Technologist provides patient care by performing MRI imaging procedures. The position requires proficiency in various MRI techniques and procedures. Floating to like units may be required to meet facility needs. The role involves interacting with patients to ensure their comfort and safety during MRI scans. Weekend coverage may be necessary based on staffing needs. Collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals is essential. The unit utilizes a co-care/virtual nursing model to enhance patient care. Preferred experience includes working with adults in an acute care setting. Candidates must be comfortable working with various patient demographics and conditions. Workers will utilize MRI equipment for abdominal, brain, spine, and extremity imaging. No on-call duties are required for this position. Travelers must be flexible and willing to work during major holidays as needed. Housing options may be limited in the area, so candidates should plan accordingly. Travelers are expected to follow all facility policies and procedures.
