Dietary Aide - FT

STGi is seeking a Dietary Aide to provide services at our Georgia War Veterans Home. If you have compassion and a passion to care for Veterans, this could be the job for you!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Provide assistance in all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food procedures.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to move intermittently throughout the day
• Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to meet the requirements of the position.
• Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• On the job training will be provided.
• Effective English communication skills
• Professional demeanor with resident community

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent
