University RecruiterWhirlpool is looking for a dynamic University Recruiter, to join our Global Human Resources organization in Benton Harbor, MI. The University Relations team at Whirlpool Corporation recruits undergraduate and graduate students into our Leadership Development Programs, early career, internship opportunities and early ID programs. This position will focus on the sourcing and selection of talent for our programs, defining recruiting strategy and managing relationships with internal stakeholders. Additionally, this position will have a very important role in evolving our recruiting strategies using digital approaches to deliver the best talent to Whirlpool.Your responsibilities will include:Advise and develop strategic recruiting and branding plans across the U.S. for Whirlpool's Leadership Development Programs that leverage on-campus opportunities, digital platforms, and diversity conferencesEvolve and expand the use of digital recruitment strategies to broaden our talent pipelinesPartner with universities and colleges, diversity student organizations, and digital platform vendors on plans that will build diverse talent pipelinesPartner with key stakeholders such as the Talent Acquisition Center of Expertise, regional University Recruiting counterparts, Leadership Development Program Managers, Communications and Inclusion and Diversity on the development of recruiting plansDrive and support projects to continuously improve and standardize the recruiting processWork with vendor partners to drive flawless execution of our recruiting activitiesServe as a subject matter expert and provide training and education to Program Representative on executing effective talent strategies for programsConduct assessments and resume screening, behavioral interviews, and talent debrief sessions that lead to hiring decisionsMaintain accurate candidate records in the Whirlpool applicant tracking system and assist in managing dashboards for HR leaders and Program ManagersDevelop and conduct on-campus and digital presentations and articulate Whirlpool's employer value proposition to potential candidatesIdentify and lead initiatives to further expand Whirlpool Corporation's reputation as an employer of choice and best-in-class recruiting companyAbility to travel up to 10% for recruiting eventsMinimum requirements:Bachelor's Degree1+ years of experience in Recruiting, University Relations, Talent Acquisition or experience in Higher Ed or Student Affairs (inclusive of but not limited to: career services, student activities, residence life, advising, high impact practices)Preferred skills and experiences:Knowledge of university recruiting and digital recruiting strategiesHigher Ed industry experience within student engagement and developmentThought leader with the ability to influenceRelationship and stakeholder managementEvent planning and executionExperience with vendor partnership for recruiting strategy executionExperience working with internal and external partners at various levels of the organizationStrong analytical and problem solving skillsWhat we offer:Generous benefits package, Whirlpool employee discount, fitness & educational reimbursement programs, kitchenettes, and more!
