Lead Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Lead Maintenance TechnicianThe Lead Maintenance technician leads maintenance teams responsible for repair and upkeep of grounds and buildings.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Supervisory Responsibilities:Assists with Assigning and overseeing the work of maintenance team.Assists with the planning and preparation of training and orientation for new maintenance team members.Ensures proper chemical balance in pools and assists in logging daily state required testing maintaining proper documentation.Assists with maintaining inventory of the maintenance shop.Collaborates with Property Manager to schedule vendors.Duties/Responsibilities:Performs general plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facility’s equipment and structures.Works with Property Manager to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks.Assesses work orders and turns to plan work assignments.Collaborates with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments; delegates assignments based on team members’ skills and experience.Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed safely, effectively, and in a timely manner.Assists team members with advanced problems with given assignments.Inspects work performed by team members.Tracks and logs materials, and other resources used for inventory purposes.Performs snow removal including outside of regular business hours as needed.Works with Property Manager to coordinate safety meetings.Maintain a professional and courteous attitude by providing exceptional customer service.Shares availability for emergency on-call.Performs snow removal including outside of regular business hours as needed.Performs other related duties as assigned.Education and/or Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.At least five years of maintenance experience required.CPO CertifiedQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
