Eurythmy Teacher K-8th - fall 2026

Opening Statement Live Oak Waldorf Schoo l is seeking a Eurythmy teacher for the 2026/27 school year beginning in September 2026. While our goal is to hire a Eurythmy teacher for Kindergarten through 8th Grade, we are also open to someone teaching a reduced load of Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Essential Job Duties Present Eurythmy lessons incorporating grade‑specific curriculum, exercises and movements to students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Direct or lead students in Eurythmy presentations. Develop a syllabus with goals and objectives of their year’s work, working with developmental needs of each grade level. Write Year‑End Reports for each student. Qualifications Eurythmy training certificate or currently in training (with institute recommendation). Waldorf teaching experience preferred, though not mandatory. Able to speak and understand and communicate in English. A high degree of self‑motivation with the ability to work independently, while working effectively in a team environment. Capacity to meet the school’s expectations and guidelines regarding direct communication by respecting and following the school’s Pathways of Communication process. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong organizational skills. Employment Details Hours: Part‑time, average of 14 hours per week for 34 weeks. Work days primarily Monday through Friday from 10:45 am to 2:50 pm, with occasional weekends and evenings. Compensation & Benefits: Hourly rate of $65 per hour.
