Experience Center Support Specialist

Coordinate Challenger Learning Center and Experience Center activities to provide a consistent, positive, high-quality experience. Responsibilities include:

• Prepare for and deliver high-quality and professional programming in Experience Center and Challenger Learning Center in non-traditional and traditional settings including, but not limited to on-site field trips, off-site outreaches, scout activities, birthday parties, camps and public programs, and some special events.
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors/program participants.
• Responsible for care and maintenance of program supplies and equipment.
• Ensure safety of site, activities, and participants; report any accidents, injuries, and safety concerns.
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude and demeanor; effectively represent and act as an Ambassador for the College to faculty, staff, students and visitors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervision Received: Reports to the Experience Center Manager. Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Applicants in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree will be considered. Any offer of employment will be contingent upon completion of bachelor's degree for applicants with a degree in process.
• Understanding of community college setting and customer service experience preferred.
