A Laundry Aide at Life Care works as part of an interdisciplinary team, adhering to applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards to keep facility operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Perform day-to-day laundry functions: collecting, sorting, ironing, folding, stacking, hanging, and distributing Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures Uphold patient rights, safety protocols, and sanitation competencies Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients Assist in the evacuation of patients when circumstances warrant Maintain professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and others Protect all proprietary and confidential information Adhere to Life Care's Code of Conduct and complete mandatory compliance training Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements High school graduate or equivalent (preferred) Prior health care experience (preferred) Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Capacity to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, and reach intermittently during working hours Candidates must demonstrate sound judgment, dependable attendance, and the ability to concentrate and use reasoning skills.
