Associate Veterinarian

We are looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join us at Sunset Animal Clinic, a trusted practice serving West Columbia since the 1980s, serving small animals and exotics! Just minutes from downtown Columbia—a vibrant university town with a lively arts and music scene, great restaurants, sports, and year-round outdoor activities—you'll enjoy a low cost of living, mild winters, and a welcoming community. Our 7,000 sq. ft. clinic features 5 exam rooms, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and a brand-new dental station.

What You Can Expect

• Flexible Scheduling: Full-time doctors typically work four 10-hour days (8 AM – 6 PM), with part-time options available (2–3 days/week). No Saturday hours.
• Minimal On-Call: One weekend a month to check on patients staying in the clinic!
• Growth Opportunities: Our doctors and staff regularly expand their knowledge of exotics, dentistry, internal medicine, and updated treatment protocols.
• Supportive Team Culture: Our staff thrives on teamwork, continuous learning, and outstanding client communication. We offer mentorship for new graduates, including longer appointment times and collaborative case discussions.

We're Looking For

• An associate veterinarian (new graduate or experienced) who values teamwork, client service, and quality medicine.
• Interest in exotics or internal medicine is a plus, but not required.
• A flexible, collaborative approach to patient care.
