About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: Pediatric Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty License: WI RN or compact RN license required Certifications: BLS required, PALS preferred Must-Have: Pediatric OR, ambulatory OR, and pediatric trauma experience required. Experience with a charting system is required. Trauma Level I and Level II experience are required. Description: Interview availability is required for this position. Please provide three available dates and times, including the candidate's time zone. On-call requirements are 1 time every 6-8 weekends. Weeknight call is required 1 time per week, Monday through Thursday. Holidays may be required as operationally needed. Candidates can start on designated dates. BLS certification must be from AHA only. Candidates should have experience with the administration of blood and blood products, and various surgical procedures. Knowledge of infection control and wound management is essential. Candidates must possess skills in peripheral IV starts and emergency response techniques. Telemetry exams will be required prior to the start of the assignment. Candidates must meet pass/fail testing criteria. An active telemetry competency is required. Travelers may float to other units based on staffing needs. No references will be accepted. Travelers should follow instructions in their welcome letter for orientation scheduling. Weekend rotations and some holidays will be required. Please ensure that all essential qualifications and skills are met before applying.
