Job Details:

• Job Title: RN - Private Duty
• Location: Hagerstown, MD
• Setting: School-Based
• Pay Range: $34.00-$43.00 (Pay based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday – no weekends, no holidays, no call
• Hours: 08:00:00 to 15:30:00 (~35 hours/week, based on school bell hours)
• Contract Length: 12 Weeks
• Candidate Type: Local candidates only – travel stipend not available
• Preferred: 2 years of experience as a Private Duty Nurse, school setting experience preferred
• Requirements: Valid RN license, willing to obtain MD licensure

Responsibilities:

• Provide essential support and specialized care to students in educational settings.
• From IEP meetings to direct therapy or nursing care, your role will have a lasting impact on the well-being and development of students throughout the academic year.
• Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to ensure students receive services tailored to their individual needs.
• Provide treatment for students with various communication disorders such as articulation, language, and fluency.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations.
• Write and implement goals and objectives for IEPs.
• Collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team and provide classroom support.
• Work with children in a variety of classroom settings and provide additional services depending on the needs of the student population.
