Production Lead Job Description

Purpose: The main purpose of this position is to prepare the candidate for the Production Lead Position. The Production Lead will report directly to the Operations Manager. Requirements:

• The candidate should have mechanical abilities.
• Good supervisory skills
• Must have computer skills
  • MS OFFICE particularly Excel
  • Data entry
• Must be good with numbers
• Must be able to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Must be willing to work "hands on"
• Must be forklift certified.
• Trainable to operate warping machinery.
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Duties:

• Train to perform invoicing
• Inventory control of all warehouses
• Inventory tracking yarn, beams.
• Preparing shipping/receiving paperwork.
• Purchasing and MRO maintenance
• Minor repairs
• Preventive maintenance
• Scheduling
• Production control
• Supervision of employees
• Enter quality control and process data into spreadsheets.
• Maintain various spreadsheets and programs for warehousing and beaming.
• Help pull and label orders for shipping
• Prepare shipping and receiving paperwork
