Unarmed Security Officer

Job Description

The Unarmed Security Officer will work primarily in a commercial environment, ensuring the safety and security of people and property. This role requires vigilance, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle conflict professionally. The officer will operate as a solo member of the security team and must be prepared to work regular evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine surveillance and safety inspections of commercial premises
Report incidents promptly and accurately
Assist customers and respond to inquiries to maintain a safe environment
Resolve conflicts with professionalism and calmness
Enforce established safety rules and policies
Maintain clear communication with management and emergency services as needed
Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect potential security risks

Preferred Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in security operations
Strong observation and conflict management skills
Excellent communication abilities
Experience with patrolling commercial environments
Customer service experience
