They will also betasked with additional duties as the Shop Manager sees fit. Theyalso function as representatives of the Museum to the public andhelp promote organization-wide initiatives such as membership salesand special exhibition promotions and events. Weekend availabilityis essential, as well as flexibility throughout the week. Open and Close the Shop. Merchandise, clean, and stockdisplays. Count registers in and out with a high level ofaccuracy. Help run the sales floor by assisting in the management ofschool field trips in and out of the Shop. Be attentive to guests.Walk the floor and anticipate when they need assistance. Provide excellent customer service by promoting the Museum'sexhibitions, the Shop's products and by being knowledgeable aboutthe Museum's events, layout and protocols. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications High School Grad/GE Degree and 1 to 2 years of experience orequivalent combination of education and experience isrequired.
