About Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford With 407 beds, this regional referral center features a modern facility built in 2010 and a newly-renovated 16 operating room suite The hospital is centrally located in the fastest growing county in the state of Tennessee on a beautiful 68-acre campus on the bustling Medical Center Parkway corridor with convenient access to dining and shopping areas The hospital campus is currently undergoing a $110M expansion project, which includes the addition of 36 new high acuity beds, a parking garage dedicated to hospital employees and physicians, 18 new critical care unit beds, six additional NICU bassinets, 17 new post-surgery bays The hospital is well known in the community for its womens services and well-established heart surgery program Saint Thomas Health and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) have an established partnership in Middle Tennessee for training medical residents in a variety of specialties including internal medicine, family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and general surgery About Murfreesboro One of the nations fastest growing population centers Offers tops schools and a wide range of housing options Quick access to the amenities of metropolitan living including fine dining, live music Home to Middle Tennessee State University Multiple nearby lakes and trails About Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Partners For nearly 20 years, Saint Thomas Medical Partners has provided primary and specialty care to the community spanning 45 counties in Middle Tennessee, and provides care to over 315,000 patients annually. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
