Position Overview We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound / Sonography Technologist to be part of a flourishing imaging team known for their exceptional patient care. With the help of cutting-edge ultrasound equipment, you will execute diagnostic procedures, collaborate closely with a collection of supportive clinicians, and provide patients with the peace of mind they deserve through accurate and timely imaging. Responsibilities
- Execute a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout all procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy and understanding
- Work hand in hand with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
- Manage and maintain imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions promptly
- Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and standard practices
- Earned an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Preference for those who have completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Demonstrated technical excellence in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Adept at working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
