Dietary Supervisor

Excelcare Health Management provides rehabilitation and healing in a state-of-the-art setting, utilizing the latest advances in medicine to ensure patients are comfortable and confident every step of the way. Excelcare at Newark is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations, guide dietary staff, and ensure safe, high-quality meal service for our residents. As a member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting resident health, satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities: Supervise and schedule dietary staff to ensure smooth daily operations Monitor food preparation and service for quality, safety, and compliance Assist in menu planning and special dietary accommodations Conduct daily kitchen inspections and maintain sanitation standards Train new staff and provide ongoing coaching and support Maintain inventory and assist with ordering supplies Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to meet resident needs Ensure compliance with state and federal dietary regulations Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare setting Knowledge of sanitation regulations and dietary guidelines Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work weekdays and weekends as needed ServSafe certification preferred but not required Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance 401k with up to 5% matching Paid time off, sick and holidays Tapcheck, get paid sooner Employee only discounts, perks, and reward programs #J-18808-Ljbffr
