Senior Technical Trainer

Senior Technical Trainer Deliver high‑impact, hands‑on training and support the advanced technology learning programs. Facilitate classroom instruction, prepare training materials, maintain class logistics, and manage administrative tasks to ensure efficient class execution and continuous curriculum improvement. Core Responsibilities Facilitate training classes in Root Cause Analysis, Laser Beam Welding, Eye Exams, Solder Rework/Repair, Electrical Assembly, Torque, Mix & Seal, Precision Measurement, Mate/De‑Mate, Fine Pitch, and Safety Wire. Prepare for class: kitting, wire bagging, printing rosters, inventory checks, and pre‑opening setup. During class: manage attendance, organize materials, and maintain engagement. Post‑class: reset rooms, refresh workstations, manage chemicals, and log completed work. Administrative power‑moves: create classes in Atlas (AC & MFC), manage the training calendar, update learning plans, maintain spreadsheets, close‑out credits, reschedule sessions, and distribute semester schedules. NEO onboarding: print and pack packets, create NEO baggies, purchase modules, update training computers, set up classes, manage OneNote, assign curriculum, and conduct 30/60/90‑Day follow‑ups. Occasional high‑impact activities: represent the team at job & career fairs, conduct interviews, mentor apprentices, host community partnerships, share best practices, and participate in audits. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Fluency in Microsoft software applications. Ability to lead classrooms. Experience in building curriculum. General Teaching Certificate/License or Specialized Subject‑Area Certificate. Desired Skills Grant writing experience. Grant management experience. Knowledge of MES systems such as SAP or Apriso. Experience with conference room casting systems. Basic electrical fundamentals and soldering experience. Other Information Clearance Level: None. Work site: Onsite, full‑time.
