Registered Nurse - Oncology Clinic

Outpatient Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) Base Pay Range $45.00/hr - $48.00/hr Duties Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient setting. Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and manage oncologic emergencies. Coordinate patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary. Educate patients and families about treatment plans, symptom management, and psychosocial care. Ensure adherence to facility guidelines and protocols, including mandatory flu vaccination. Skills Proficient in IV Therapy/Infusions and chemotherapy administration. Ability to manage and care for central lines, PICC lines, and ports. Experience in symptom management, including nausea/vomiting, neuropathy, and altered mental status. Skilled in handling oncologic emergencies such as ATLS, anaphylaxis, and spinal cord compression. Knowledge of medications including antiemetics, antitumor, corticosteroids, and hormonal therapy. Experience in care of patients with various types of cancer, including but not limited to breast, lung, and colorectal cancer. Proficient in pain management techniques, including IV push narcotic agents and PCA pump management. Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with Cerner charting system is required. Travel experience is required. Certifications required: BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), and ONS/ONCC.
