This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the interventional radiology department, supporting procedures such as biopsies, vascular interventions, and stroke management. The position requires a dedicated professional to work weekdays with on-call responsibilities, ensuring patient safety and procedural success. Job Details Position Description: Support patient care in a fast-paced IR department managing cases such as GI bleed, strokes, biopsies, central lines, drains, and vascular procedures. The unit features 6 labs, with an average of 20-30 cases daily. Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has been initiated; BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; EKG interpretation skills; drip titration experience; minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a related setting; ability to use EPIC EMR and Phillips monitors. Schedule: 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM with scheduled call shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a response time of 30 minutes. Additional Information: The department operates a 1:1 patient ratio intraprocedurally, with up to 1:4 in phase 2 recovery. No self-scheduling; on-call includes primary and secondary shifts, covering 6-8 shifts over 6 weeks.
