What You’ll Tackle

• Complete set‑ups and run CNC lathes to meet engineering specifications
• Read and apply prints, drawings, and technical documentation
• Track part quality, cycle efficiency, and process consistency
• Handle routine maintenance; troubleshoot issues to keep machines running smoothly
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges for conformance
• Keep the work area organized and safe; adhere to all safety and quality procedures
• Partner with teammates to drive continuous improvement

What It Takes

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical coursework preferred)
• 5+ years setting up and operating CNC lathes — aerospace preferred
• Experience with Mazak and/or Nakamura platforms preferred
• Deep knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, and common materials
• Confident blueprint interpretation and documentation skills
• Detail‑driven problem solver with strong communication
• Independent worker who also elevates the team
