Senior SQL Server DBAMinimum 12+ years' experience. Mandatory skills - SQL Server administration required skills. Certifications desired:MS certifications on MSSQL latest versions or AWS/AzureResponsibilities:Ability to think about a problem, identify what we have and implement solutions to solve the problem independentlyWork with onsite client team / Application owners in US / UK to Migrate Applications, Database building and DecommissioningAbility to take lead on some projects and works as part of a team (follow another leader on others)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to think in and out of the box. Come up with service improvement ideas and innovative solutions.Self-motivated, conscientious, dedicated individual who works equally well independently or as a member of a teamMust be willing to take responsibility and ownership instead of waiting to be assigned workThe candidate must be willing to provide on-call and weekend support for SQL and MYSQL, the support is rotated among DBA's in US and IndiaEnable and support the team in resolving day-to-day production issues, application upgrades and patches, performance analysis, disaster recovery implementation, capacity planning and other activities as may be necessary.Work on Change implementations during UK, US business hours & weekends as per change management processDocumentation & Operational performance reportingOwn service improvementsExecute on demand IT projectsDrive compliance to client and organization processes and policiesEnsure quality of deliverablesThe above is not a comprehensive list and could change based on business requirements
