ABOUT THE JOB

You are responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash handling, and customer relations. Your role requires strong judgment, basic math skills, and the ability to multitask while setting a positive example for the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

General job duties for all store team members Operate all equipment Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler Prepare product Receive and process telephone orders Take inventory and complete associated paperwork Clean equipment and facility approximately daily Training Orientation and training provided on the job Communication Skills Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person Essential Functions/Skills Math: add, subtract, multiply, divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used) Make correct monetary change Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make rapid, accurate movements Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen

WORK CONDITIONS

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks In‑store temperatures range from 36° in the cooler to 90° and above in some work areas Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside Fumes from food odors Exposure to cornmeal dust Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500° or higher Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts

Talking and hearing on telephone Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks Depth perception Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing – Most tasks are performed from a standing position Walking – For short distances for short durations on various surfaces (ceramic tile, bricks, linoleum); height of work surfaces 36–48 inches Sitting – Paperwork completed at a desk or table Lifting – Bulk product deliveries (cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs); stack onto shelves up to 72 inches high Carrying – Large cans (3 lbs 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), trays of pizza dough (approx. 12 lbs per tray) Pushing/Pulling – Trays on dollies (24–30 inches; up to 7.5 lbs force) Climbing – Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladder for maintenance tasks Forward bending – Necessary at pizza assembly station and front counter; repeated continuously during the day Crouching/Squatting – Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas Reaching – Up, down, and forward; above 72 inches to turn on/off ovens, change sign displays, lift and lower objects; reaching down to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes Hand tasks – Continuous eye‑hand coordination; frequent use of hands; forceful forearm and wrist use for shaping dough; manipulating pizza peel and rolling cutter; pinching in pizza box assembly; grasping cans, phone, pizza cutter, peel, and boxes Machines, tools, equipment, work aids – Pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, pizza peel

DRIVING SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES

Deliver product by car to customer addresses Deliver flyers and door hangers

REQUIRES

Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
