We're looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who can lead by example, build strong teams, and help us continue to deliver exceptional service to our customers.What You Will Do as a Warehouse SupervisorIn this role, you'll be responsible for leading and supporting the 2nd Shift team to achieve operational goals while creating a positive and productive work environment.You will:Lead and support warehouse associates while setting clear expectations and helping them succeedCreate employee schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels to support daily operationsProvide training, mentoring, performance feedback, and employee development opportunitiesBuild trust within the team through open communication and consistent leadershipIdentify operational challenges and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracyHandle hiring, performance management, documentation, and terminations as neededCross-train employees to build a flexible workforcePartner with leadership and other departments to meet operational goals and customer expectationsHelp ensure the team works safely while meeting quality and productivity expectationsBuild positive working relationships across teams while promoting excellent customer serviceWhat Makes You a Great FitCollege coursework and/or 3+ years of supervisory or team leader experience (warehouse, quality, customer service, etc.)Experience leading teams of 15+ employeesStrong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonalBilingual communication skillsUnderstanding of business operations and warehouse processesKeen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at onceProficiency with computers; Microsoft Office experience preferredWhat to Expect in This RoleFull-time, 2nd Shift leadership role in our Distribution CenterHands-on supervision in a fast-paced warehouse environmentRegular interaction with employees, leadership, and internal customersSchedule and overtime requirements may vary based on business needsOpportunity to make a real difference by developing employees and improving warehouse operationsContinuous training and development opportunities to support your career growthWhy Kirby Risk?Since 1926, Kirby Risk has been a leader in the electrical supply and manufacturing industries.
