The role involves communicating orders and information between the front of house and back of house, ensuring food is cooked in correct order, efficiently, and presented correctly to guests. Responsibilities Communicate orders and information between the front of house and back of house while ensuring food is cooked in correct order, efficiently, and presented correctly to the guest. Follow assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation. Ensure that proper food temperatures are maintained, and items are accurately delivered. Be responsible for safety standards, neatness and sanitation of work areas. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen including shelves, walls, floors and drains. Participate as a team player with specific responsibilities related to preparation, excellent service and delivery of product. Handle and clean kitchen equipment carefully and safely to prevent damage or injury. Adhere to company guidelines for appearance and uniform standards. Lead the food runners and coordinate accurate delivery of orders. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Great organizational skills. Leadership skills. Strong time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Professional culinary training preferred. Must have 2 to 3 years working in a fast‑paced high‑end club or restaurant. Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements, including late nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to stand, sit, use hands to handle or reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company‑wide safety training and any additional job‑specific safety training.
