Location: Durham, NC
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM

We are hiring Busbar Assemblers to support the production of electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment. This hands-on role involves assembling copper and aluminum busbars used to distribute electrical power within switchgear and control panels. No electrical license is required. Training is provided, making this a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with tools, following blueprints, and building quality products.

• Assemble copper and aluminum busbars used to carry electrical power inside panels and switchgear
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, layouts, and work instructions
• Use hand and power tools such as drills, torque wrenches, and measuring devices
• Measure, align, and install components accurately according to specifications
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction, electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related field preferred
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Comfortable performing hands-on, physical work in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read measurements and follow detailed instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable work history and strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and be trained
