Teeny Tiny Toes is a daycare center in Astoria, NY serving children from the age of 3 months to 4 years old. We are seeking to hire a highly motivated and enthusiastic lead teacher in the toddler classroom.

Required Qualifications:

• A baccalaureate degree in early childhood education
• 1 year of documented experience as a group teacher in a program for children under six years of age

Responsibilities:

• Develop, plan, and implement age-appropriate daily curriculum and activities that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Supervise and direct the daily classroom routine, including meals, outdoor time, rest, and play periods.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment.
• Observe, document, and assess each child’s developmental progress; share updates with families regularly.
• Provide positive guidance and support to promote appropriate behavior and social interactions.
• Collaborate with assistant teachers, co-teachers, and program leadership.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with families about their child’s day and learning goals.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities as required.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• Program runs on 12 month calendar
