About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Proposals to lead and support the full lifecycle of the Government RFP and Proposal process. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of proposal development, from inception to submission, ensuring the production of high-quality, winning proposals. This role involves overseeing a team of Proposal Volume Leads, writers, and consultants, and working closely with the Chief Growth Officer and other business development professionals to develop technical and management solutions. The VP of Proposals will also be involved in maintaining adherence to business development processes, conducting competitive intelligence, and collaborating with BD teams to understand win strategies and incorporate them into proposal responses. Applicants for the Vice President of Proposals position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 20 years' of relevant professional experience, with a proven track record in managing successful proposal efforts. Familiarity with APMP and Shipley methods is essential, as is proficiency in MS Office applications. The role requires strong organizational and management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a background in leading proposal teams, be adept at conflict resolution, and have the ability to secure the necessary resources for proposal development. A successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a government clearance if required.
