Light Assembler I
An assembler assembles fabricated parts to relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units. The job requires the assembler to test, calibrate, and fit parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. The assembler must also identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair them as necessary. The job requires the use of hand tools and small power tools. The responsibilities of a light assembler include reading and comprehending instructions, taking precision measurements, selecting or modifying components, aligning material, and checking output to ensure highest quality.
