Job Title: Buyer Location: Cape Canaveral, Florida (On-Site) Job Summary We are recruiting for a Buyer opportunity supporting procurement activities for complex spaceflight systems. Our team is looking for a candidate who can help ensure sourcing, contracting, and supplier management activities are executed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with program priorities. Responsibilities Manage suppliers and internal stakeholders to support external development activities for spaceflight systems. Prepare and issue requests for proposal and requests for quote, perform price analyses, and support negotiation strategies. Develop and execute procurement agreements, including long‑range procurement agreements and strategic sourcing partnerships. Oversee the procurement process from requisition creation through final invoice payment and resolve issues as they arise. Required Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a similar field with at least 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management. Experience with procurement and supplier management. Knowledge and understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Experience negotiating and managing multiple contract types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), and cost type (CPFF, CPIF). Strong analytical skills, data‑driven approach, and experience establishing and tracking program metrics. Working understanding of AS9100 standards, engineering data such as specifications and source control drawings, and English language proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing. #J-18808-Ljbffr SSi People
